Project Manager at Black Diamond Therapeutics

The Project Manager will provide project management support on drug discovery and development project teams. The Project Manager will actively contribute and help the teams to effectively and efficiently deliver on project goals on schedule and within budget. The Project Manager will contribute to the functional development of project management at Black Diamond.


  • Develops, maintains, tracks and manages project milestones and deliverables.
  • Effectively guides a team through the formation of an integrated drug development plan.
  • Ensures alignment within project teams, between project teams and functional units, and with relevant governance bodies.
  • Oversees and prepares project team budget including resources and costs, collaborating with Finance and other cross-functional departments.
  • Works in partnership with project team to develop and identify risks and opportunities and execute on project plan and strategy.
  • Communicates, documents and archives project team activities, risks, milestones, deliverables and decisions.
  • Acts as a primary contact for project team related information.
  • Actively facilitates project team meetings (including the preparation of meeting agendas, minutes, and follows up on action items), cross-functional communications and decision making, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepares routine and/or ad hoc project status/dashboard reports.
  • Maintains project team SharePoint site.
  • Identifies, recommends and implements opportunities for streamlining programs.
  • Participates in implementing improvements to project management processes, tools and infrastructure to ensure ongoing efficiency across the company.


  • Minimum 5 years of multi-disciplinary experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience with knowledge of the overall drug discovery and development process
  • Experience with Project Management software to manage complex project timelines and resources
  • Strong proficiency with project management practices, tools and methodology
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (scientific or health-related field) required. Advanced degree is desirable.
  • PMP certification is desirable.
