JUNIOR AUTOMATION ENGINEER at Microfabrica

We are looking for an energetic and talented junior engineer to develop processes for sophisticated automation equipment in a cutting-edge fabrication technology.





Responsibilities


Setup and troubleshoot sophisticated automation tools/systems


Develop processes and perform data analysis


Create procedures, work instructions, and provide training on related equipment and processes


New equipment procurement that includes defining specification, acceptance testing, and implementation


Interface with vendors and technical support for equipment issues, maintenance, and upgrades


Solve engineering problems and improve/develop new production processes relating to the equipment





Education & Training


Minimum requirement - Bachelor's Degree in related engineering field





Experience


Looking for recent graduate with practical experience in automation from academia or an entry level engineering position


Preference for individual with experience supporting fab-type processes (i.e. semiconductor, MEMS, solar, etc.)


Software programming experience a plus





Skills


Knowledge of engineering principles and technologies related to automation systems (semiconductor fab equipment a plus)


Demonstrated problem solving, decision making and communication abilities


Fluency in English and strong writing skills


Meticulous attention to detail and comfort with hands-on work


Familiarity with Microsoft office (word processing and spreadsheets)
